Our marine drains and penetrations now have flanges
The new BLÜCHER® Drain Marine and BLÜCHER® EuroPipe penetrations can be installed using only a cordless drill driver, which means no more welding and 45-second installation time per penetration. You will no longer need a welding certificate or hot-work precautions, so they can be installed by one person at a later stage of the building process-- or even at sea.
Drains and penetrations come with a special screw-lock system with sealing ring for each fixing point and a sealing ring for the entire drain/penetration. Installation can be done simply by using an electric drill/screwdriver and/or a torque wrench, tightening all fixings to 35 Nm. Our new drains and penetrations are suitable for repair/refit in decks from 4,5 to 10 mm thickness and fire-rated A0-A60 (bulkhead A0-A30).
